The role of the Culture Department is to spread and promote Jewish, Spanish and universal culture through a variety of activities. To this end our strategy is based on the following:

• Providing activities that are as varied as possible in order to offer a comprehensive portrayal of Jewish cultural wealth: film, music, photography, painting, science, gastronomy, dance, theatre, and other disciplines.
  
• Fostering joint activities with the major cultural institutions in Spain.
  
• Fostering collaborations with prominent personalities in the sphere of culture with a view to creating a network of interests.
  
• Strengthening the presence of Casa Sefarad-Israel in major cultural events held in Madrid and other cities.
  
• Offering preferential attention to cultural activities of a contemporary nature.
