Casa Sefarad-Israel's Civil Society Department is responsible for liaising and collaborating with non governmental organisations, foundations and other not-for-profit organisations, including think-tanks, professional associations and trade unions.

The aim of the department is to bring together organisations and individuals with links to Jewish social and political life in Spain and Israel, as well as Jewish communities around the world. This interaction is encouraged in order to

• Share knowledge and experiences
  
• Develop joint projects that are eligible to obtain public or private funding
  
• Provide activities in which both countries are represented.
